win. 24 dent

I have a nice win 24 thatthat I am going to use to trade. the problem is the barrel has a small dent in it that you can see. I have shot this gun many times without problems but it reduces the trade value. here is my question. can the dent be taken out of a barrel with a "choke" choke? I was told a "choke" was a marking on winchester that is a long tappered full choke. Is a qualified gunsmith able to remove such a small dent without notice? Is it worth me doing it? also for future reference may I insert a picture of a gun into my question? if so How? Thanks Todd

  Brownell's has a tool designed to remove dents from shotgun barrels. Likely any experienced gunsmith will be happy to take on an easy job like that. The only question would be whether the increase in value would justify the cost of the work.

  Any smith with the correct tool can remove the dent with no problem.
  The price is generally around $45.00 + up depending on the amount of work involved.
  
  Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
