Any Smith & Wesson exprets here??
A friend picked up a super nice Smith & Wesson N frame .357. Definetely
pre model 27. Hand ejectpr 3rd.?? Looks like serial number is 76xxx.
Has longer assembly numbers on it in other place, This number is the
yoke. Does not have the REG stamped of the registered ones. Serial number is not in any range I can find in any references. Any idea of the manufacture date.

38 HE 3rd Models were mfg. 1905-1906 long before the 357.
The number your giving is not the s/n
Your s/n should be on the flat of the barrel (underside), on the cylinder, and on butt strap.
Double check and let us know the s/n and we can help you out further.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
