Value of S&W 14-2

I have a S & W 14-2 with a 5" barrel that I bought in 1965. I have the box and tools. It is in vg to mint condition. What is it worth.

    Gil..... Welcome to the forums.

    The 14-2 with 5" barrel are not encountered very often. The 6" version is currently valued at around $300.00 in 100% cond. The 5" would likely go for around $350.00 to $375.00.

    They did make a 5" but,are you measuring it correctly from the front of the cylinder? [:)]

    Yes it's 5 inches from the cylinder, it's one inch longer than the barrel on my 17-2. I have 2 letters from S&W stating that it was a special order.
