Reloading 762 x 25
Has someone got info. on reloading the 762 x 25 ( 30 cal) handgun round or where to go to find it?

Lol, I have been struggling with this exact problem. I went to the Accurate powder site and got some loading data there.

I also got some data from the insert that came with my Lee dies. It shows considerably hotter loads.
I loaded several batches with AA #7 and 110gr. Remington FMJs at 6.7, 7.2, 7.7, 8.1 and 8.6gr. I'm off to the range this weekend to see about which level signs of overpressure begin to show.
As for other powders, I'm pretty sure the Lyman manual also has some data, but I don't have this available.

I have had success using the Hornady 90 grain HP/XTP (#31000) over 5.3 grains of Bullseye. More comfortable to shoot than S & B factory ammo. I recently bought some Berry .308 110 grain plated round nose, but have not yet had a chance to try. I think I will use 5 grains of Bullseye to start.

My load is: Hornady 90 gr. LSWC over 5.0 grs of V.V. N340 and a CCI 500 primer. Works for me in my CZ52

Durn things! During feed, the action shoves the bullets into the case, compressing the charge! Thank goodness I didn't actually fire one in this state!
This, in spite of having lightly crimping them into place! You can't crimp them too forcefully, or the neck will buckle.
Any ideas as to what I ought to do?
