I would just like to thank everyone for your responses. I did order this pistol brand new. I had been using some Wolf ammo just because I have plenty of it. My father-in-law shoots almost dead on with it, but for some reason I seem to shoot 4in to the left no matter what...now, I can compensate that much and hit anything I want. I thought I tried everything, careful on my trigger pull and so forth but I guess I need practice. The thing is I had just sold my P89 Ruger and shot the same ammo through her and hit right on target...go figure. Anyway, thanks again guys for all your help, I will try all suggestions until I figure this out.

    Directly left at 9 o'clock = to little trigger finger, have you tried shooting it from a rest?

    As far as wolf ammo goes you won't get much praise around here, I for one would not shoot it if it where free

    I agree with the last reponder. I wouldn't shoot wolf ammo out of any of my guns even if it were free. You should work on your trigger control and not compensate those 4" groups. insist on doing it right. compensating to the right is the wrong approach.

    I have both a Ruger P89 and Beretta 92FS, I shoot lot better with the Beretta. The patterns just seem to be tighter, but this could be associated with the better feel and balance of the 92FS. I use CCI Blazer 9 MM Ammunition, $3.86 Everyday at Academy Sports.

    If you want cheap practice ammo I suggest Seller & Bellot and I know I spelled it wrong. My 2 cents [8D]

    I had a 92FS Inox, and had similar problems. I eventually attributed it to being too big (wide) of a gun for my hand, and I could never get comfortable with it. Not to discourage you, but sometimes physical size of the gun can be a factor in how well you can control it. I'm no expert, but thought I'd offer my exp. with this gun.

    Best wishes, I am just back from the range where I fired my new 92 FS. It is a dream compared to my other military 9mm. I grab it well, aimed carefully and it was very accurate. Ammo was Winchester ball and Magtech FMJ. Good luck with the Beretta!! [^]
