Best way to fix dovetail front site in place? Stak

For a 1911 after fitting up my front site and getting it in place what is the best way to fix it there? I would assume staking, in which way is the best way to do this for asthetics? And should I just use a center punch or do they actualy make a tool for these?

  If a dovetail sight (front or rear) is properly installed/fitted there should be no reason at all to stake it in position.

  IF YOU ARE REFERING TO THE ORIGINAL TYPE FRONT SIGHT (POST THAT GOES THROUGH THE SLIDE) THESE MUST BE RIVITED IN PLACE WITH A SPECIAL TOOL. BROWNELL'S HAS A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT TYPES.
