Whats a Beretta Bl-3 Worth?

I have a friend who is trying to sell a Beretta BL-3 Over/Under shotgun. It has 26" barrels and is in fair shape. Not sure of the ckokes on the gun. What should he expect to get for this?

    I don't know where you live but here's another slant on the BL-3. They were made in a series, BL-1 through BL-6 back in the late 60's and early 70's. Each was better made, better finished, more elaborate engraving as you went up the numbers. In the current Blue Book, it's listed at 525, 550, and 600 in 90, 95, 100% condition. Here in Wis., since last fall, I have seen several 3's at shows, typically in the 900-1150 range and, they do sell. Check prices in Gunlist. They aren't cheap there either. Per Blue Book, if 20 ga. and condition 90%+, add 50%. They are well made and very nice to handle. The ones I have seen show very little wear
