Colt Paterson replica question
Hello, I have a Replica Arms Co. Paterson revolver and need to find out the manufactures name and the gun's value.
The gun has MOFRA stamped on the bottom of the barrel, just above the serial number, which is 6xx. The cylinder is engraved with a stagecoach hold-up scene, and has an eleven land/grove 9 " barrel.
It was purchased around 1975, so it is at least 30 years old.
I have been unable to determine the manufacture, and any help is greatly apprecated.
This gun is displayed in a walnut presentation case with all the original accessories. I need to determine it's value.

This is just a SWAG, but your cased Replica Arms Paterson should be worth about the same as a Llipiet or Uberti in equivalent condition. Replica Arms cap-and-ball revolvers were pretty well-made (whoever actually built them), so I'd guess its value would start around $500 in NRA Excellent condition, of course, any wear or damage to the revolver, accessories or case would require a downward adjustment to that value (you didn't mention caliber - I assume it's .36 - or condition). 0
