9mm Largo vs. luger

What is the difference between 9mm Largo and 9mm luger??? Can one be used in the other ???? thanks in advance !!!

  about 2mm in length, the two are ballisticly similar

  They are not interchangeable. Luger is 9x19, Largo is 9x23. Note also that Largo and Win 9x23 are the same size case, they are also not interchangeable. Win 9x23 is far stronger, and can blow up old Largo guns.
