Age and value of Winchester 20 gauge auto?

Hey guys, I have a Winchester Ranger Model 140, 20 gauge auto loader 2 3/4 inch. # N966483. Made in the late 70's or early 80's. Any ideas on value and manufacture date? Thanks

  I recommend writing to ask the gun guy at shotgun news or better yet guns & ammo magazine has a section for just of determining the value of certain firearms. I suggest you pick one up and see what I am talking about.

  Someone will be along shortly to help you out. In the mean time, we need complete description, of wood, metal, etc. 80% won't do, we need details.

  Vent rib, walnut I think, blue metal. Just a Ranger 140, 2 3/4 shells. I need high and low values. It's not N.I.B or rusted trash. Scale of 10, a 7 would probably cover it.
