browning blr clip

Just added another little beauty. A browning blr 81L in .270. Bought it used from cabelas sidney, ne store. They keep all clips in a shoe box under the counter to stop them from walking away.

The only one they could find for this firearm was labeled 30/06. they told me it would work and was the same clip.
will it work for .270?

    Yes, the dimensions of the .270 & 30-06 are the same, other then the diameter of the bullet.

    I have had 4 BLRs. All were the short action, 308 x 2, 243, and 358 and all of those clips would interchange even though they were stamped for each caliber. I would use them with what ever gun I happended to be useing that day and never had any problems.[:)]
