Smith & wesson .32 S&W

I have a "lemon squeezer" .32 Smith & Wesson revolver. In the times of 9mm as the minimum caliber for defense what can I do with it? Keep it as a collector item? Thank you.

    If you like it keep it if you dont try selling it its a S&W so it should be worth something

    I'm not familiar with a lemon squeezer .32 revolver made by S&W. Could you possibly have "a lemon squeezer in cal .32 S&W"? If so, value would depend upon the manufacturer & condition. In any case, I would assume that it is not safe to fire unless checked by a gunsmith.

    I also have a Smith and Wesson "lemon squeezer", (called New Departure model, I think) complete with the original box and about 1/2 of box of black powder cartridges that came with it. Mine is a beautiful, deep dark blue and is looks like the day it made. Does yours have the safety gadget in the grip area between the stocks? I also have an Iver Johnson in the same chambering. It is junk compared to the S&W. If you decide to use it, be careful to use the ammo it was designed for. If it is in good condition, I would imagine you would have little trouble trading it for a decent modern firearm. Good Luck

    These little pistols are fairly common, and even show up in that kind of condition with fair regularity. The blued specimens are a little harder to come by believe it or not, and show a 20% premium over the Nickel guns. Even with the box and some of the old BP rounds...I would estimate around $350. 32 S&W long and 32 Colt New Police should both be safe rounds in this gun, but I would likely either put it in a display case, or sell it as the condition likely dictates a collector will want it as a non-shooter.

    Thank you all....mine is a nickel version, 2" barrel with the grip safety. It is so tiny and compact..Came from my grand father. I think it is a good piece to keep it. Thanks!

    Bravo Breechman!!! Keep it in the family. You can always buy something more suited to modern needs, but you'll never be able to replace granddads gun!

    I believe the Lemon Squeezer is 32 S&W Short, not Long or New Police.
