Identification help.

hi, i need some help identifying the 5th gun. ive tried and tried, and no one seems to know for sure. i dont have any other info or anything, besides that picture. i need any guess you have.

its not Browning Superposed, Browning Citori.

i do know that it was a limited style that was built to look like a browning but was better, its really old.

any help?

    close look for brand names cause thats the big thing there...

    My guess is a Charles Daly. Early on the Charles Dalys were made in the same city Miroku Japan. I'm guessing that it is stamped somewhere.

    Joe's right. I've got one from the late '60s that looks identical. It just says Miroku, not Charles Daly.

    Fifth one from the top ,or fifth one from the top?

    I will assume from the bottom ,with out anymore help from you it will be hard to identify with out any marking ,it looks like a biotti

    What if any markings are on the gun? I can tell you that it is a Jap built gun. You keep coming back to tell us it isn't what we guess...why not give a little more info. Where is the serial number located, what markings on the barrel. I think I'm right. I know of NO other gun built this way other than the Miruko/Superposed gun.

    Biotti is Brazilian made ,yes we need something ,a small crest under the forearm ,something ,you can tell us what it is not ,so you must have some information

    well i found out what it was

    its an Abercrombie & Fitch shotgun. before the clothing company was around A&F was an outdoor adventure store. my friends grandpa got it back between 1940 and 1955. and there are not too many models of it still left in the world.

    Huh? A&F simply marketed firearms and never produced any guns of their own. By saying that there are not many left in the world like that particular shotgun you are claiming that there are not many guns left in the world which were sold by A&F and that is a big stretch since their retail outlet alone sold tens of thousands and not all have vanished. Some firearms manufacturer (probably Spanish or Italian based on your dating) produced that shotgun and it was sold by A&F. 20 seconds of hands on inspection of the firearm and its markings would clear up who produced the gun.

    I still say it was MADE IN the Miruko plant in Japan......
