mossberg model 46 semi auto

was asked if i wanted to buy it from an indvidual who works with me. says that it needs some repair. i have'nt seen it but can't find any info about it. he says it was made about 1945. the only model 46 that i can find is a bolt action. can some one help

    Your correct...the 46 is a tube fed bolt action. They started making the 46 in 1935 up until 1952 in one form or another (46a,b,c,LS,M) I would buy it if I were you. They are a very accurate gun!
