who makes a good scope base for this handgun?

  mulling getting myself the 12" from the performance center.
  what do the ballistics look like for this cartridge. i would use it for whitetail,hogs,etc.
  what brand of scope do you experts suggest? i am thinking about the burris scopes.

  I don't know about comfortably shooting the .454. Thats still a powerful cartridge. I don't necessarily think bigger is better.
