Info on this Citori will be greatly appreciated
I have a 12 gauge browning Citori shotgun with a 30 inch vent rib barrel chambered in 2,3/4 the marking on the barrel says special steel (not sure what that means) it is extremely lightwieght has some engraving on the action and shoots like a dream the sn is 10326PY143 has automatic injectors a beautiful stock and very fine checkering all over the wood. Also has a gold trigger (if that means anything) Id like any information on this particular gun such as if it was a skeet gun when it was made if it is backbored or not and what it is worth.

With out more info this is the best I can do . Made 1982. Sounds like a standard Citori. What are the barrels choked?/

Im not sure what they are choked at but im pretty sure they are both the same and the gun performs best at shooting clay pidgeons

take off the forearm. look on the sides of the bbls. do you see any marks like this?

so far all i see is a 2 on the one no astericks whatsoever i took the barrels off of the action and this is what I found
10326 and a few places it says NP also an SP and a 12 where found but they all could not be seen unless the barrels where removed from the action oh wait a minute i think i found what your looking for

you have a field grade or trap gun.tell us about the rib. is it high or a low profile rib?
what kind of beads are on the rib?

well it has a small white bead on the front and an even smaller white bead about halfway down the barrel Id say its a high profile rib sticks up about a half inch off of the barrel

If it was made in 82` then it is most likely a Trap gun with those chokes. Very unlikely that Browning choked any field guns like that that late. Not to say they wouldn't have ...it's uncommon that they would. Most of the 30" field guns would have been choked Mod/Full...or Full/Full. 0 -
not sure what you mean by curved or straight it looks like a standard remington stock to me and it also looks as if it could be both for a right hand and left handed person cause it fits your hand the same no matter which way your holding it.

Thats exacltly what my stock looks like only my wood has a nicer finish ill post a picture later, Mine has a beautiful dark reddish stock. with a pachmyer recoil pad. (probably the prettiest gun ive ever seen in my life) now if i could only get an idea on what its worth. (ive been offered several times 800$)

We have a Citori Trap with screw in that is used that we have been asking $1195 that is in about 95% and haven't sold. Being that yours is a fixed choke gun....I would say $800-$900.Assuming it is a standard blued receiver. Pics would be nice. That gun you have isn't back bored. 0 -
i can tell your gun is a bonified trap gun...it just occured to me. trap guns only came in 2 3/4" so shooters couldnt chamber cheater shots in 3" mag! what does the receiver look like? simple rosery vine pattern or birds and dogs? unless you shoot 500 rounds a week, you aint gonna notice a difference btwn backbored and not backbored! you have a perfect gun for trap and clays. enjoy it.

Ive only shot 20 rnds through it and the recoil is painfull only because of how light the gun is is my guess Its definately engraved but i dont see anything like your describing.
