Anyone heard of .333 BOHC? What is it? I'm suspecting a necked up 8X57. Any help?

Never heard of a .333 BOHC. How about a .333 OKH? 30'06 necked up to .333.

Where did you here about it? The closest thing I have ever heard is the .333 OKH.

Picked up a sporter 98 mauser at a police auction marked with that on the barrel.

Sounds like it's time for a chamber cast (and some custom dies) if you want to shot it as is.
If you only want it as a shooter, takeoff 7.92x57 barrels are common.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
