American 180 Full Auto

Hi I have several questions for you folks. To start with I am an Individual collector/shooter/trader...NOT a Dealer, nor do I hold an FFL, with that being said...I just helped a long time friend with eliminating a small collection of arms he purchased in a period between 1978-1982, no big deal there. My problem is this, he owns one Class 3, American Arms International 180 Rifle, Full Auto, 22cal. I have looked at the auctions here, the "other" auction site and at American180.com..I am trying to get an idea how much something like that might be worth...the only one I found for sale was a semi-auto version and the Blue Book and Firearms guide only show semi auto value as well. His is a B prefix serial# , is in a custom fitted case, has the wood stock, original magazine and 2 barrels, a short one with a pistol grip and a longer one with traditional type forearm, this all fits in the case, he says he shot it one time, shortly after purchasing it in 1981. It is fully transferrable, he has all the paperwork where he paid for the tax stamp and all that. So, I guess my question is...any idea how much to ask for it?? and may I list it for him on Gunbroker, just have it shipped from a Class 3 on this end to a recieving Class 3 on the buyers end?? I Don't own or deal with Class 3 stuff personally and dont want to get myself into any fix, trying to help him out. Thanks in advance for any info. I will check frequently to see if anyone has any thoughts, please no lectures..just helpful information, thanks!

    Thanks for the Info Mark...thats why I'm asking...Like I said I Dont deal with class 3 items...just wanting to find out how he can get rid of it and get a fair price...I'll have him call the gentleman you suggest and see how it goes. Thank YOU!!!!!

    Years ago I watched a clip on tv with the inventor of the gun in question.He was shooting cement blocks used in construction of buildings with one.It was cutting the blocks in half like a laser.The thing would scream when a fired it.Pretty neat to watch.
