Pre-64 Winchester model 94 32 spl

I have a pre-64 winchester model 94 in 32 spl that i am trying to get a value on. i got the blue book, but i was wondering if those prices are what people are paying for them. it is in about 80% condition and was made in 1950.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

    In our neck of the woods (Northern Michigan) that gun would bring anywhere from $325-$400. All depends on what part of the country you live in and what your market will bear?

    thats a long way from the $1100 that blue book said

    The gun you have is a carbine...the rifles will bring the higher dollar that they mention.

    If the current Blue Book lists a 1950 vintage standard Sporting Carbine in 80% condition at $1,100, it is TOTALLY out-to-lunch[V]. Realistically, a post WW II Sporting Carbine in 80% graded condition is only worth about $400.

    Our neck of the woods is on the same parallel as northern Michigan: pre-64 94 carbines in that condition are very easy to find for $400 on down. Lots of the guys have traded them in for them new fangled bolt actions with scopes. Seriously, I seldom see a 94 carbine in the deer woods these days.
