Disotec XFR smells horrible?

Any of you that have used Disotec, does it smell REAL bad (STRONG plastic urine is the best description)?? Just used some that I won here last year and was wondering if it goes bad after a while.. I wouldnt think so but maybe...it has "contaminated" a pistol and a case - been trying everything to get rid of the stank, but to no avail...

    I think it has gone bad I just opened a new tube and it has a lite gun oil smell nothing as you described.

    Hummm.. I wonder if this also led to my failure of trying to reblue using Blue Wonder gun blue and oiling it with the same Disotec afterwords??? It's definitly the Disotec that smells in the tube....

    Give the guys at Blue Wonder a call. I had 2 tubes of the cleaner bust on me sent them back and they sent me 4 new tubes. There a great bunch of fella's real nice to deal with.

    Here's the reply I got -- I thought the stuff I got here was the new improved batch, but maybe not. Truly a great bunch of guys however!!!

    You received the Disotec on the GunBroker.com giveaway where we were
    asking
    for feedback. It was a bad batch. We gave some out for "testing" and
    wanted feedback from the users. The feedback was that it gummed up
    most of
    the time. The base oil was a vegetable oil and since then it has been
    changed quite a bit.

    We are sorry about your problem and it is probably because it went
    rancid!!
    It had a stabilizer in it but it didn't work well enough.

    The final and current version of Disotec is made from a highly refined
    mineral oil base and basically has little or no order and cannot get
    rancid.
    We would be glad to send you a new one to use along with a tube of our
    gun
    cleaner for your inconvenience.

    I knew the guys at BW would rectify the problem ASAP. They have a great customer service dept.

    After a few more emails, actually the tube was supposed to be the new blend, so I am going to sent it to him per his request, and have their lab take a look at it. Yeah- their customer service is second to none!!
