629 Classic "DX" value

6.5" Barrel, 629-5, Test Target is dated 1999, box, ziplock with all the extra front sights, DX grip, Pachmyer grip, Hogue grip. I've put about 250 rounds through it. Can barely see the start of a cylinder ring.

Would $525 be a fair price to sell it to a private party with the RCBS reloading dies?

    I think that would be a little on the low side. I know I wouldn't sell mine for that.

    For reference, I bought a 6.5" 629-6 Classic Hunter for $599 last October brand new at Oshman's.

    For all the extra goodies you are including I would have bought it from you for $525 or a little more.

    I just sold my 629 classic with hogue grip for $500. No box, no extras, I threw in a box of hand loads. Gun was in good condition, but showed a pronounced cylinder ring from use.[:D]

    I just sold my PC compensated hunter w/ leupold red dot for $1000 and my 629 classic 8 3/8 w/magnaported barrel for $550. Took me over 1 year to find a buyer for the classic that would pay more than $400.
    Both guns less than 200 rds.
    Just make it happen when you find a serious buyer or you may sit on it for awhile.

    I just want to say that a Classic DX and a Classic are quite a bit (as far as I'm concerened) different.[:)]
