Marble's tang sight experts wanted!!!!!

I have a Marble's tang sight that doesn't have a code on the bottom. Here is what confuses me? When locked in its upright position, it is at 90 degrees to its base? so it almost has to fit a tang that is parallel to the barrel. the attaching holes are both in to the rear/front (depending on how it attaches)I have a photo if anyone wants to guess. I have stumped some of the experts already..... xxjhulet@hampels.net drop the xx Here is a link to the photo

    I am still searching for ionformation on that sight. The hole spacing appears to be .75-inch on center, and the mounting holes are forward of the sight.

    edit: Joe, I have searched through everything reference that I have available and came up empty. All that I can tell you for sure, is that it is NOT designed for a Winchester[:0]

    I believe that your Marbles tang sight is for a Marbles Game Getter (the 1908 model). I would have to see a picture of the side of the base to be sure. [:D] email me if you want to sell it -- william.keller@med.ge.com

    Nope ...not for the Gamegetter....... way to long and the hole spacing is about 1 1/4" , the base is straight and the bottom is radiused.....keep thinking.

    Hello Joe... unless I suddenly do not know how to read a ruler, the sight you have pictured has a mounting hole spacing that is approximately .75-inches center-to-center (which is how it should be measured).

    oops your right...but it still isn't for the gamegetter. Thanks for waking me up? Not sure where I got that figure from? Been a long day.

    I have done the same and looked through the info I have and try to eliminate gun by gun as to what won't work? i end up in the same hair pulling conclusion...the sight was built for a gun that was never made...hehehe
