Ruger P-97?

Is this used Ruger any good? Worth my 300 bucks? Will it last me as long as a glock or Springfield 1911 would?

    Does anyone here have any experience with this gun?What is the over all quality of this gun and the reliability experienced?I found one for $350.00 which feels like its a good price compared to all the other .45's I see but figure low price could mean not worth having.Thank You.

    depends on the condition. i personally dont like them, but plenty of people do. if its in decent shape at all id say its probly worth it.

    Yes, Yes and for sure yes but I prefer a KP-90.

    It between the Ruger p97($300used), springfield 21($460new), or a glock 21($540new). I am not a competition shooter, I just want something that will last me the rest of my life and be good for plinking and home defense.

    the p-97 will last your life time and your kids lifetime! they are built like tanks.best bang for the buck in a semi auto pistol too be had.hope this helps don

    I just purchased another Springfield 1911 and love it too. That makes three diff ones that perform very well. After reading some posts here I might have been hesitant on buying one for the first time, but I haven't had any problems. It all depends what feels best in your hand though. With either the Springer or the Ruger you won't be dissappointed.
