As much as 25% over blue book. The Blue Book as of today is 18 months old. New book out in 2 weeks and is 6 month out of date. Check the selling prices on Gunbroker.com. That is the true value.

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

remember folks, the blue book is based on a NATIONAL AVERAGE of SALES natonwide, all combined. meaning, a 1903 in miss. may sell for 200.00. but in conn, it may go for 800. result? 800+200 = 1000 / 2 = 500.00 blue book. dealers are partly to blame for this. so is area and cost of living. but the internet should help eliminate being locked into one scalper in one state. its every dealers dream to get his guns to book for more so he can make a better profit. so, if he can get someone to bite for 20% more, hey! why not? it will make it a firm increase in the bluebook next publishing! as long as we the gun dummies who spend foolishly keep going, the dealers will go up too. thus you get inflation. stop paying too much for them and it will go down. what the gun industry needs is a cold wake up from buyers and we need to go cold turkey for a few seasons and rattle their cage to get it to come down.[;)] basic economics 101. lower the curves.

Thanks guys. It is definately what the market will bear. I can't believe the values since I was more involved back in the 70's.
