centerfire target pistol question
Just got off the phone with a buyer for my motorcycle so I can now afford a better centerfire pistol for bullseye competition. My league shoots slow fire at 50 yards and rapid at 25 yards. What would be a good gun for around $1000.00 ? This would strictly be used for target shooting. I am allowed a red dot (and my eyes need it). TIA.....Joe

Hello I know old age does not make an expert but I have been shooting Nra Bulls-Eye for 40 years and been to Camp Perry 33 times My suggestion is to get a 1911 45 for Bulls - Eye . please let me list the reasons If you buy a 45 You can shoot it in 2/3 of a 2700 match. With just one gun you don't have to learn how to shoot 2 pistols . you only have to work up one load and either load or buy one type of ammo. you only have to buy one pistol and one red dot sight .
