pump shotgun experts
my grandmother has a shotgun ,that has been in the family awhile ,and it is a pump that ecjects the shells from the bottom , and the bottom magazine tube is damaged , and need to know how do you remove and replace these ??

Sounds like it may be an Ithica 37. If its damaged, I would suggest taking it to a gunsmith. He can diagnose the problem and order new parts if needed.

It does sound like a 37 Ithaca, and if it is, the magazine tube unscrews.
A heat gun or hair dryer applied to where it goes into the receiver may be a help.You need to support the tube when it unscrews or it will compress.
This is not the time to use a pipe wrench. A small strap wrench will do it.
Brownells has all the parts you need, give them a call.

Could be a Remington. Don't remember the number Mod 10 or 31. Need more info.
