Muzzleloader recommendations

What model would you recommend. It must be a 50 caliber with the 209 ignition. It must cost 300.00 or less. Thanks for all input.

  Go Knight..... I bought a Stainless model that takes the 209's. Love it. Shot both an Elk and Deer last year with it using open sights. I broke off part of the fiber optic sight while raising up into the tree. Emailed knight and had a replacement part in 3 days. Awesome service. Knight Rifles are easy to clean as well. Good Luck..

  I recommend a New England Firearms Co. Huntsman in .50 caliber with an accessory 12 guage shotgun barrel. $164 plus tax at Wal-mart. Add a 4x scope and you're set and under your budget. It's accurate, powerful, easy to clean, and very simple. My teenage son took a 9 point buck with his on opening day last year. Plus in the off-season you have a 12 guage 3" chambered shotgun to play with.

  CVA Kodiac MAgnum. If you like a Knight,I have knight on auction 30189598. you can get the 209 ignition change for like 30 and it will be ready to go.

  If you already own a NEF shotgun you can buy the muzzleloader accessory barrel separately as well as many other barrels.

  Knights are great. The Wolverine meets your criteria. If you move fast, you may be able to get a Disc Elite. This is a $450 Knight that has been discontinued, not due to any defect but just due to the fact that bolt action inlines are not as popular as they once were. The Disc Elite may be the most accurate muzzleloader ever made.
  If you google 'em up you may find one on closeout for $300.

  Spend a few more bucks and buy the TC Omega...they are goon proof,lifetime warranty. Black Diamond would be the second choice.
