H & R Muzzleloader

Does anyone have an epinion on the H & R muzzleloader? I was considering one in the near future.

I work in a sporting goods store and i have sold quite a few of them they shoot very well from the reports i have gotten on them. There are 3 brothers that shop at my store and they dont buy junk. 1 of them bought 1 the next day the other 2 came in and ordered them. they could not believe how they shot for the price......Now they came out with a new one that is a none fire arm. the old one you can change the bbls on them you can make it a 12ga. and a few others.

Not fancy, but good, solid,accurate, and dependable muzzleloaders. What more could you want? I bought my teenage son one that came with an accessory 12 Ga. barrel. I mounted a scope on the 50 caliber and he killed a 9 point buck with it on opening day of the season. I like how easy they are to clean. Just lube the breech plug well before inserting and don't overtighten. I use spark plug anti-seize from the auto parts store. When you finish shooting, loosen the plug while the barrel is still warm and it comes out easily later for cleaning. Wal-mart has these on their web site. Look under sporting goods and NEF or H&R muzzleloaders.

That NEF [H&R] Sidekick is a big bang for the buck. Accurate and easy to clean. Cabelas has them for $160, you can't beat them for the price.
That is the one that is a non-firearm, does not have interchangeable barrels.
