I always wanted one of those sleeve rail thing (like in some movies like Red Heat, Ford Fairlane) but as for having an actual holster it might be hard to draw. You'll have to have sleeves that are easily pushed up without snagging. I suppose most smaller holsters could be adapted with belts/straps and used on the forearm. Might be a fun search to do online. 0 -
Yoshmyster; You're talking about what was known as a 'GALLIS RIG'...I've only seen one in my life...My Step Father Had one that supposedly belonged to an old Mississippi Gambler He met as a Youth..
It had a Scissor Frame with a Screw Clamp that did'nt fit anything Dad had in Small Pistols, and he had quite a collection......It was attached to your Forearm with a leather strap and laced on, with Hookeyes like on old Shoes...Hav'nt a clue as to whatever happened to it...I remember trying to make it work with out a gun...and it was'nt anything to get excited about...It would Bind
up as the scissors opened...it was Gravity Operated...and not worth the effort...It always looks great in the movies....
Tsuren: I've never seen a sleeve holster that worked....It was always bulky..Sleeves were to tight....Just not feasible for Arm Carry....

To My knowledge the Gallis Rig was made over a hundred years ago... and I'm pretty sure that GOOGLE was'nt around at that particular time and era....You might check with a Uniform Supply Store that Law Enforcement People frequent....Someone there might be able to point You in the right direction....? YOU MIGHT TRY POSTING AN AD ON THE WANTED FORUMS......

Surely Google was not But if you know about it therefore someone else can know. Therefore the Someone can write these words somewhere. But it looks like Someone does not exist. That was the reason why I suggest that "Gallis Rig" is a typo.0

Ahhhh! The "sleeve hide-away" dilemma. Again...
Since firearms were fashioned small enough to conceal, it has been the desire to mimic the old "card tricks" of something up the sleeve.
Through some research I 've found that no particular manufacturer has offered such a holster or gun cenveyance as part of their line-up. I even found some notes about BATF relevance or interest since the gun were "tetered" to the user. (Didn't make any sense to me either.)
But examples, practical or useless have abounded. Most of them have been "Jules Verne or Da Vinci" types of creations, or one of a kind custom made. Most have not been more than a bandage or leather band right above the wrist from where the gun could be drawn with the opposite hand. Few if any (other than the movies or an entreprising weirdo) would actually fashion or use a "telescoping" gun holding device. Once I saw an example made for a movie set which was actuated by an air squeeze ball located under the armpit which projected a rod forward to which a "derringer" could be attached. It was very uncomfortable and awkward to say the least, and probably worked after the 26th. movie take for the first time. [:D][:D][:D][8D][8D]
TSUREN, save your money for something practical that will work. Or not, in which case contact an "engineer" who may design and build one for you. Who knows? If you have enough money to waste on this send me an e-mail, I may know somebody...[:D][}:)][;)]

Please remember that Google is NOT the end all of search engines. It may very well have the largest number of pages in searchable format and it does use back linking to search but it is run by liberal thinking former collegiate PHD candidates. They (original owners) are anti-gun. So, rather than thinking that Google is the one and only, try using www.bjorgul.com which is a list of 30 Major and Meta search engines. Plenty to choose from. I found the above with another search engine and it was most definitely not Google!
