Remington 600 coversion?
Is it possible to use the model 7 floor plate and trigger on a remington 600? I have a remington 600 that started life as a 308 but had a model 7 stainless 7mm-08 barrel installed. It is a great little rifle but would like to get rid of the platic trigger guard and put a floor plate on it. I'm one of thise strange people that like the dog-leg bolt. I just sold another 308 but still have 2 in 6mm, 1 243 and the 7mm-08.

I bought a Model 7 trigger and floor plate to give it a try and it didn't work. The length between the holes for the floorplate is different for the two models. Oh well I tried. I will buy a couple of the metal floorplates for the 600 though. Thanks for the tip! 0
