Stoeger 2000 and Franchi I-12 quality

I had a customer who happens to be my cousin. He is looking for an new 12 ga shotgun to replace his old Remington 11. He wanted a new Benelli in camo. But all the Super black eagles are 3 +1 shot and he wants atleast a 4+1 gun. Trust me this man is a terrible shot and needs all the rounds he can get. HE averages 25 shot shells to get his limit of 3 birds. So I had him talked into either a Stoeger 2000 (4+1 shot) or a Franchi I-12 (5+1 shot). These both use the Benelli intertia system. He is willing to buy one but he wants to make sure that they are quality guns. I have shot the stoeger and liked it but he is leaning toward the Franchi. Can anyone a Stoeger 2000 or Franchi I-12 give tell me what they think about the gun?

    i dont know about the guns, but it seems like getting him a shotgun with more capacity is treating the symptoms instead the problem [:D]

    believe me I have tried to help him. He loves hunting so he needs 5 shots. I take him clay shooting all the time and he just doesnt get much better. I like that he misses cause I get more birds when I go with him and I look better. *laughs* He uses over a box of shells to get his limit of 3 and I usually never use more than 6 or 7.

    I've had a Stoeger 2000 deluxe 12 gauge... got rid of it. Didn't hold up to moderately heavy use. For a occassional shooter, case or two a year, it would probably be fine....
    But I agree, sounds like the friend needs some advise/training regarding pointing and hitting....
