h&r 22 mag model 649

I just baught a H&R 22 mag model 649 and I can not find any information about it on the web. I baught it just to shoot cans and show my boy how to shoot and I wanted to change the grip on it because it has someones intials carved in it. This is when I started looking for the gun and could not find anything about it. Can someone please help me if you know anything about it? THANKS

  Blue book says it is a model 649 convertible 22 LR or 22Mag, western style double action side loading 5 1/2 or 7 1/2 in barrel 6 shot walnut grips, blue finish Mfg. 1976-1985

  tops out about 100%-$140 98%-$120 95%-$110 90%-$95 80%-$90 70%-$80 60%-$70
