  Your best bet for complete disassembly instructions is the "NRA Guide to Pistols and Revolvers" it's a paperback that has been published in many editions over the years. It has a section devoted to the Model 9.
  
  Here are the field strip instructions.
  
  1), On the rear of the slide is a "latch retainer lever". Depress it to release the "takedown latch".
  
  2), Raise the rear of the slide to clear the rear of the barrel.
  
  3), Pivot the slide assembly, forward off the frame.
