Picatinny/ Weaver rail?

I have a Beretta CX Storm. i am in the process of purchasing a vertical Grip. The one Beretta sales is around $40.00 bucks, but cheaperthandirt.com has one for an AR-15 that attaches to a weaver rail for $14.95. they look identical. The one Beretta sales says it must mount to a Picatinny rail and the AR-15 mounts to a Weaver rail. Are the they same type of rails and will they fit????

  Picatinny rails are larger than standard weaver rails.

  Midwayusa.com has one for $8.49, ProMag Vertical Forend Grip AR-15 Polymer Black. I seen this on a beretta CX4. It fits a Picatinny rail. P.S. - read reviews for item on midway website.
