remanufactured ammo OK?

I just ordered 600 rounds of "remanufactured" 357 sig rounds from Cabelas for plinking use only. I will use Gold Dot or CCI or Federal regular hollow point ammo in my pistol for self defense. Anything wrong with this remanufactured ammo if I use it only for target shooting and plinking? Thanks.

    I've been shooting Cabelas bulk 9mm ammo for years. Never had a problem with it. Cabelas makes high quality rounds and I think you will be very happy with it. I just recently stopped using it only cause Academy Sporting goods sells 50rnd boxes of CCI 9mm for 3.86 a box. That is much cheaper than any price I have seen.

    I used to shoot gobs of Ultramax remanufactured 9mm and .40, but they were loaded quite hot. I eventually had to quit using them, when my extractor was bent out of usefulness.

    IMHO remanufactured ammo is the way to go. After all the case is the most expensive part of ammo why throw it away after one use. I know of one large police dept that sell all there once fired brass 357SIG to remanufactures . I reload 5000 rounds of 45ACP a year and some of my cases have been reloaded 10 plus times

    Well, the above responses are encouraging. I'll let you all know how it shoots in my Glock. I tried to find a Academy Sporting goods store near me but the nearest one is 100 miles away or so and they don't sell online. Darn!!

    They arent near me either, but for the difference in price I have been ordering by phone and getting UPS to pick up and deliver to me. I still save at least 20 bucks on 1000 rnds.

    I didnt find it to accurate will stick with pmc which is cheeper and the most accurate cheep ammo I have ever seen.

    *IF* I don't load it myself and *IF* I trust the maker (having a big outfit like Cabela's behind it is a major plus), then I will buy remanufactured rather than factory new. Not for CCW, but for practice.

    Hmmmm. That is intersting. I'm almost tempted to drive there on a nice day and stock up on ammo. It's 100 miles away but maybe my wife and the kids could make a day of it!
