new target scope on light wallet

Ok I want to put a target scope on my 257 rbts.I would like some suggestions on a good scope on a tight wallet. I want a
6-24x40 mildot. Ive been looking at a few but im not sure what one to choose.

    well to be perfectly honest, i think the BSA's are a good scope for the money. they are well made and have screw in caps. i have one on my 22-250 BDL VS and it shoots really well. i think you can get them for pretty cheap around $100.

    Whats your budget? Look into the Bushnell 4200 or 3200 series, Those are good scopes for the money as I understand, the last thing you want is a 6-24x40 MD scope thats so cheap, the crappy glass won't let you benefit the power and I highly doubt the comeups would be very accurate to take advantage of the MD range finder either.

    Check out Nikon's buckmaster scopes. I have a few of them and they are fanctastic for the price. They make a buckmaster 6 - 18 target dot AO. Not as powerful as you asked and no mildots, but is only $281 @ 4scopes.com with a lifetime warranty. They have a 4.5 - 14 w/mildot for even less.

    I bought one of the Bushnell 4200 6-24 mildot scopes a few months ago.It does everything it should.Adjustments are positive and accurate.Very clear.My next new scope will be Bushnell 4200

    If you want to stay in the $100 range then Tasco or BSA is the only way to go. I like the Tasco a little better between the two.
