Browning O/U information

Thanks in advance for any information. I have a Browning over and under Shotgun passed on from my Father. 2 3/4 shell, 12 gauge made in Belgium. Marked Lightning underneath . Barrel over all length 32" end to end. Serial # 487**S5. I'm curious on the age of the shotgun, Primary use for that barrel length, value and any history of it. Thanks again

  Made at FN in 1965. Lots of variations will change the value up or down. Your gun was prolly a Trap gun, Broadway trap guns had a 5/8" wide rib. Break it open and look on the side for these markings to tell what the barrels are choked.

  Thanks, Upper is Full and lower is M and rib is 5/8th wide.
