1911 High Standard barrel

I need to know whether to use this barrel or try to sell it to a WWll Colt collector. I have pics to send to any expert.I need a barrel so I would have to buy one to replace this one.It has been fired but it's rifling is excellent. What to do????

  Post to the 1911/11A1 board, at this link. The guys their would be more likely to know if theirs any collectors value in your High Standard barrel.

  Hello the High Standard was used in the WW 2 age gov.Gi 1911 A1 auto They for the most part would be a wanted item to replace a bad barrel to restore the right 45 . This said they are not rare and can be had like new on this and other auction sites for about the same price or less then a new aftermarket barrel from Brownell's
