Have an opportunity to purchase Ruger .22 Single-Six ENGRAVED , 1950's No box, but with factory letter. how much 500.-2500. ?

  Is the Single Six you mention one of the approximately 250 FACTORY engraved guns? (I assume that is the significance of your mention of the factory letter, which apparently confirms the gun is factory engraved.)
  
  Genuine factory-engraved Single Sixes are so rare and sell so seldom that that the price is whatever the market will bear at the moment, probably up to $5,000+ with the original factory case and mint condition. Missing the case and less than mint, the price is probably 1/3 to 1/2 less.
