These were so-so as far as quality was concerned. The company was based in New York and made pistol as far back as the late 1950's and when back when I worked at a gun shop in the early 70's we sold quite a few of them at around $70 to $80. I don't reall many of them being returned for repairs but my own experience with them was mixed. Although better made than the Jennings, Bryco, Davis pistols, this does not mean that they were good shooting guns. My opinions here are closely monitored by a postal worker named Dean who considers any critical words I make against inexpensive firearms to be a sell out and makes me a tool of Handgun Control. In order to avoid additional agony on the subject of inexpencive pistols I'd simply suggest that you have the pistol test fired before you make the purchase.

    Mr. Christian

I find little argument with your technical knowledge. As a matter of fact, the Sterling Arms 300 I've shot only gives so-so performance. It will only function with ball ammo. It's the right side of your brain, the feminine side I take issue with. I don't really think you're a sell out to HIC. In the original posting I only wrote the HIC comment as sarcasm. For this I apologize. You appear to me more of an opinionated rube in my humble opinion.

If they don't trust us with guns, how can we trust them with the government?

I wonder how an opinionated rube, who uses only the right side of his brain, could have managed to fool all of those people so easily! Since you clearly monitor my posts Dean (which I way I mention you by name) I was surprised that you were no where to be found on that particular thread. Just imagine if someday I used both sides of my brain!

I'm not monitoring your postings. I only read the postings with headers that catch my eye. This Sterling thread caught my eye, because every time my brother in law shoots his, he brings it over to my house so I can clean it. While you on the other hand seem to know a little too much about me. I've never refered to the Postal Service in any of my writing. Yet you took the time to look up my profile.
I really dont know you, but if your asking my opinion I'd say your an OK guy, who knows a hell of a lot about firearms.
