Choke selection for slugs and 00 Buck

I own a Benelli M1 Super 90. A fine shotgun that functions flawlessly and very accurate at 50 ft with slugs. This may be a stupid question, but I don't know the proper choke to use? Please advise? I do know the difference between full, open, and improved cylinder. Can an expanding slug ruin a muzzle with full choke? This is a 18.5" bbl tactical shotgun, so I only use slugs and 00

  Cylinder(aka none) choke is best for slugs. IC or modified for buckshot. Mind you, buckshot is no good for deer sized beasties. Not reliable enough. Oh and there's no such thing as a 'tactical' anything. It's a marketing term.

  If your shotgun is equipped with changeable choke tubes, DO NOT fire it without a choke tube in it!
  
  For shooting Buckshot or Slugs, use the most open choke tube you have, preferably Improved Cylinder.
