Help Indentifying Mauser Auto Rifle
Hey Guys;
My brother gave me a Mauser rifle, I've never seen one like it. It is a 7mm semi-auto, 15 round box magazine and is gas operated, Gas tube and piston below the barrel. The bolt handle is straight and has wooden Tee. It looks simular to the Russian 40 SVT Tokarov, however, the reciever is lower and flatter. It functions perfectly. Is in excellent condition, blueing 95-98% slight wear a muzzle and sharpe corners. Stock is 90-95% a few little digs and handling marks. It has Nazi acceptance marks eagle/swastika 359 on the reciever, bolt, barrel, and magazine, and few other marks I havent made out yet, gotta' get a stronger magnifying glass. Matching serial numbers, even the magazine. Fit of action is very tight, parts fit together with hair line percision. Serial number is 16xxb. Has Mauser Logo on reciever head ring. The barrel is 26.5". The sights are simular to those found on '98's and it has what looks like a scope mount rail on the left side of the reciever. Any ideas?
Kill all the lawyers and the world will be much better for it.

We most definitely need quality pictures of your rifle, to figure out what it is. Your description leaves a lot to be desired. "7mm", "Wooden Tee" on Bolt, "Mauser Logo" and "359" Waffenampt. Have you been sippin or smoken anything tonight?

Sounds like a G43? Though I have never heard or seen of one made in 7mm MAuser, along with Nazi acceptance stamps. rufe-snow is dead on, we need to see more pictures of this gun before we can help you out. 0 -
Python,
Does it look something like a Cetme or HK91? This might be Mexican or another version by a South American country.
We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>0
