I found a deal a local pawn shop. Older ruger 77 270cal (mfg.1973 I think) in about 75% condition. It does not have original stock it is a ramline synthetic. However it has a leupold vari-x 2 3x9 scope. I paid 399 out the door. Good deal? As always thanks for your replies.

To the best of my knowledge, Ruger has never chambered their M77 rifles in .404, but any magnum action will work. The Rim Diameter of the .404 is .537". Most beleted and non-belted magnums range from .520"-.535" except the .416 Rigby, which is .589". SO you caould certainly have one barreled in .404.

However, if your looking for an M77 with a thumper of a cartridge, they are now chambered in .458 Lott.

It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.
