How to float forearm on contender?
could anyone give me any info on floating the forearm on a thompson contender? I've floated several rifle barrels,but never a forearm.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!
The forearm is attached to the barrel. The arrangement is not like a traditional rifle or other "pistol" arrangement where the "stock" is a one-piece arrangement.
What are you trying to accomplish? Accuracy improvement???
If you think that the forearm is causing a problem, take it off and see if that clears up the problem. Although from the little you've said I don't think it will make any difference.
Let us know what your objective is and perhaps we can help you out.

Yea, I know a single shot arrangement is different. A friend of mine has a G2 contender and he read somewhere the forearm could be floated to improve accuracy. Just wondered if this was possible?

Kinda like the Contender man said, you cant float something thats attached to something, or how will it be floating ???????????????
