This gun came out of Mexico in the 1950's It has Ivory Grips, typical finish for south of border guns,Grips are shunken ,etc

Sorry I left off my questions; what guidelines should I be looking for to decide if its a Theiur conversion, serial # etc, and is this gun as valuable as the family believe?, $3000-6000.Thanks Jack

Thuer conversions were done on a variety of models. It should have matching assembly #s on the Thuer ring & the back of the cylinder. Not a lot have survived, & fakes are common.
The only way to determine it's value is to have it examined by an expert. Or, you can buy a few hundred $ worth of books. But, since you don't own the gun, & probably don't want to spend money researching it, you may just want to post high quality digital photos. Failing that, I doubt that any of us can help.
