The best in any of mine use 95 grain Ballistic Tips from Nosler, and H-4350.
The charges vary so much from gun to gun, that you really need to find what yours likes the best.
40 grains would be a good place to start at with the 95 grain bullet, and a Federal 210 primer.

Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.

I like Nosler 95 BT and Combined Technologies 95 even better with H-414 for tack driving. The 100 partition for hunting with H-414 and even H-4831 if I'm out of 414.

    70 Gr Nosler BT
    45.5 H4831 SC
    bullet seated to 2.650

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do;the fun is having lots to do and not doing it.

I do a lot of reloading for customers. Around here the pet load is the Sierra 85gr BTHP and 39 grs. of IMR 4064. This bullet is the same as the Federal Premium factory round that is our most popular off the shelf load. This is an excellent bullet ,it shoots flatter due its high ballistic coefficient and does an excellent job on deer or varmints.Sierra classes it as big game bullet but I use it for everything .
Once in a while I find an individual rifle that will group better with IMR 4350 powder and this bullet but try 4064 first. The trajectory on this load is almost identical to the 22/250 55gr bullet so you know its flat shooting, give it a try ,you will like it.

Longbow, My favorite all around load for my Ruger .243 is the 95 gr. Nosler BT with a charge of 44 grains H4831SC using CCI#200 primers. It will print sub moa groups at 100 yds consistently. I use it for whitetails and whistlepigs. Hope this helps.

My 243( win M70 lightweight carbine) really likes 100 grain Sierra spbt's driven by IMR-4350, CCI primmer and WW case, just under maximum load. It also shoots 85 grain Barnes X with same powder and primer very well, both are .5" at 100 yards.

For what purpose? Varmints? Deer? What rifling twist does your rifle have? IMR4350 works well, but you need to use a bullet suitable for what you have in mind and work up a load for your rifle. The load that shoots well in my rifle won't necessarily do so in yours.
