Re: Previous T/C Contender 225 Win barrel
Re: My previous topic about my screw up in purcahsing a 10" Thompson Contender barrel in the 225 Win Caliber. I already have the factory
ammo for the gun. But what do you guys think I should do? Should I try to shoot it and see what happens? Do you think it could blow up in my face? Or would you say I am just out of luck and some Money on the purchase price. I really don't want to get hurt shooting the thing. What would you expect to happen? After a close look it appears somebody convertated a .223 into the .225 I really appreciate any and all your input. Thanks Eric

Don't push your Luck! Make a wallhanger out of it. Everytime you got a urge to spend your money on a new toy, look at it, up on the wall and remember how you got burned. Think things through, and research stuff, before you go off "Half-Cocked", pissin your money away. It will be a good lesson to you.

Eric,
You can bet I didn't expect this to happen, but it did with shooting a bit more than it was designed for.
I got lucky and didn't loose anything but the whole gun, and the scope.
I found parts of the scope clear down by the mailbox a few days later, and that was about 40 yards away.
A totally stupid mistake on my part, dont let it happen to you.
Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
