6.5 jap ?

    Can't help you on the 6.5 stuff, but the main jap army rifle in WW2 was chambered in 7.7x58. The last ditch rifles came out in the last few months of WW2 and were chambered for the 7.7x58 cartridge (long after the 6.5 had been dropped).

    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

    markings will indicate site of mfg but only approxomate dates. The 6.5's were made from 1905 until well into WW II. There were no 6.5 "last Ditches".
    Please supply this site with details of markings or preferably pictures, so that I or others my fully answer your Q
