revolver optics
i just bought a revolver, and was hoping to get some advice on the type of optic i should put on it, or if i wouldn't need to. any thoughts on a holo sight? thanks

It all depends on the type of revolver, barrel lenght, and manufacturer. I would'nt put on on any of my revolvers, but thats only because they are either snubbies, or I use them for hunting/general protection in the woods. Also, I find that most shots with a revolver are 100 yards or less, and I can do that without a scope. 0 -
I had one on my Super Blackhawk.Shot much better without it,so it came back off.
My Ruger MarkII Slab Side had a nice 2.5-7x28 Simmons on it when I got it,but unless I was on a good rest,I couldn't hit squat with it,so it came off.
The Buckmark Ultimate Silhouette has a Tasco Pro Class and I do alright with it on a rest,but with that 14" barrel,that's about the only way I shoot it anyway.
Really got no use for glass on a handgun.
