I would like to buy a DOCTERSight (http://www.docteropticsusa.com/doctersight/) for my Pardini SP, but have no idea about which mount to get for it.

Here is what the top of the gun looks like:

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Hello if you are starting NRA type bulls-eye shooting the Pardini is a very good pistol BUT I like the older High Standards and the KART and MARVEL conversion kits that fit a 1911 frame They are both MATCH GRADE and will help your 45 scores as then all your pistols will feel the same There is a good BULLS-EYE chat site if you contact me . I have been a BULLS - EYE shooter for 40 years. I would rather buy a $800 pistol and good red dot then a high dollor pistol and cheap red dot .you can't hit what you can't see "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN"

And what do you know about Massachusetts compliance for these big boys?

a lot of guys at the club swear by Pardini as being the best. Are they worth it? Reliable? Lasting? I'm looking at a used one in nice shape for $1250. Ouch. But worth doing?

    Thanks,

Awesome gun. I love mine. Totally reliable with all sorts of ammo and phenomenal accuracy. The new ones have a newer trigger blade that's more adjustable. I can't say enough about it. Best semi-auto .22 target pistol I've shot; better than a Walther OSP/GSP, Target Woodsman, High Standard (I've been told the model I shot was a 3rd gen.???), Morini CM22, Ruger Mk.II and a couple others.

The only thing is, that price is WAY high for a used one. This place has them for $975 NIB:

The bad news is, if you live in MA, you're SOL since they're not kosher for MA.

New Pardini is not a Massachusetts compliant gun. If you want one you will need to find a used one in Ma. and more then likely pay more because it is a MA compliant one..... Say thank you MA. Attorney General..................
